[Resolved] Child theme help

  • Hello

So I’ve started using a child theme (Twenty Eleven).

But it seems that it’s broken.

As you can see on my site: http://www.geimaku.com/2012/04/20/hello-world/ the side-bar is placed above my site’s nav-links for some reason. And the side-bar doesn’t disappear when you go to another page — In Twenty Eleven, the side-bar appears on the home page.

Anyone know what’s wrong? And how I can fix it?

    Thanks.

nothing to do with the child theme
    – the link is to a single post, and this shoud by default not have a sidebar or widgets below the header.

what edits to what template(s) have you made so far?

if you have made edits to Twenty Eleven directly, replace Twenty Eleven with a fresh copy to get a clean start.

I replace Twenty Eleven by deleting it and then downloading it again??

    yes

before you do this, be sure that you don’t have any edits that you need to remember – possibly make a backup copy of the theme first.

It works fine now, thank you.

And yea, I’ve saved everything I need from it 🙂
