Child Theme Exclusions

Seems that async is preventing jquery libraries to load properly. I tried excluding the the scripts:

/wp-content/themes/brooklyn/js/ut-scriptlibrary.min.js,/wp-content/themes/brooklyn/assets/vendor/lightGallery/js/lightgallery-all.min.js,/wp-content/themes/brooklyn-child/js/ut-scriptlibrary.min.js,/wp-content/themes/brooklyn-child/assets/vendor/lightGallery/js/lightgallery-all.min.js

though no joy. Do I have the excluded paths correct? Any other thoughts? I consider excluding the entire theme though the scripts are coming from both the parent and child themes.

Morning David;
AsyncJS seems to be active and the exclusions do seem to work. When looking at the page all looks OK, but that’s probably because I don’t know what to look for, can you describe what is broken?

if you’re getting jQuery is not defined then you should make sure to exclude jquery from being asynced/ deferred, can you try that David?

well, the alternative is testing this on a non-production site, which comes highly recommended 🙂
