    Hi!
I have a new web site in development (currently not public accessible) where the Emelentor-Toggle does not work anymore.
In debugger I see the “e => this.onLinkClick(e)” is called but it does just reload and not expand the item.
If I change the OceanWP-Child-Theme to OceanWP it does work as expected.

I have no idea how to look into this issue. Any clue?

I have the latest versions installed:
    WordPress 6.0.1
    OceanWP Version: 3.3.4
    Elementor – 3.7.0

  • Hello @greatom,

Since you may have many customizations in the child theme on the staging website, please do the steps below and recheck your issue and let us know the results.

    Troubleshooting child theme:
1- Remove all customization on the child theme.
2- add your customization one by one to the child theme.
3- After adding each customization code, check your issue

Note 1: in the staging website, if you have a cache plugin or server cache. You need to clear its cache contents or disable them.

Note 2: Please get a full backup from your website before it.

I got it working now. The previous admin did add a custom.js with a modified Elementor function. Since there where Elementor updates it did not work anymore.

I removed this custom code and the web site does now work as expected.
Many thanks for your help which does help me to find the bug.

    Hello @greatom,

    You’re most welcome.
I’m glad that you were able to resolve that.

    Best Regards
