Child theme changes are not showing

Hi,

I’m using Flatsome Child Theme and I have a little problem.

Usually, when I want to edit files, I go to wp-content/themes/flatsome folder, I edit the files and then I copy the edited files and paste them to wp-content/themes/flatsome-child folder. Most of the time, everything is working with that method.

But today I decided to edit directly the file in wp-content/themes/flatsome-child folder because it was already created. But changes are not displaying on my website. I need to add the changes to the same file in wp-content/themes/flatsome folder as well to see them.

The problem is that it’s not a suitable method : when I’ll update flatsome, every changes will be lost.

Does anyone have a solution ?
