Child Theme Can't Find Parent Template

    In my Parent Theme I have a template for one-column view, no sidebar.

    When I’m in my Child theme, setting up the post, I can select the template. I click “Update” but when I go to the live post, it still has the sidebar.

    So the Child Theme sees the Template, but Can’t find it to implement.

    Please Help!
