Child Theme

    I am trying to develop a child theme so that I can update Standard Theme to 3.2.5. I have read the help section, but don’t know how to really do it. Where do I go to enter the child theme in the directory? How do I find the directory?

    You create the new style.css file on your local computer using a plain text editor. Put it in a new folder (directory) named standardchild – upload that folder using FTP to the themes folder:

    wordpress
    wp-content
        themes
           standard
           standardchild

    If you don’t have FTP set up, ask your hosting company about how to do that.
