I’ve been having trouble creating a child theme for this theme. It’s not enqueuing the CSS styles using the WP code. Could you please let me know how to setup a child theme for this PageSpeed theme? Thank you.

    Please use this starter theme.

I uploaded/installed this child theme. However, I’m seeing the same results. When I activate the original theme, it looks fine. However, when I activate the child theme you provided, it appears that it’s not applying the CSS.

I’ve also disabled all plug-ins (although they work ok with the original PageSpeed parent theme).

    Thanks in advance.

UPDATE: At first, the child theme supplied wasn’t working, but after going to Appearance\Customize and making a small edit and Publishing it, the child theme now works. Thanks.

@gmsiegel, Thanks for the update. Your site looks beautiful.

Theme review team enforces that we don’t write files (stylesheet in this case) upon theme activation. We are allowed to generate only when you perform an action on the options page.
