Support » Fixing WordPress » child pages show in submenu but can't be clicked

  • Only the child pages of the Home page light up on mouseover and can be opened and display their URL on mouseover. What settings would account for this? (Sliding door theme; the menu in question is not the slider nor in the sidebar, but is below the header.)

I also just posted about redirection, but I don’t think that’s the issue because one of the pages with THIS problem doesn’t redirect.

    Thank you.

  • Could you post a link, please?

Sorry I somehow overlooked this reply earlier.

Add z-index: 99 to your #suckerfishnav ul in the stylesheet. Should be around line 35.

    sucker not found in style.css, index.php, functions.php or page.php

Ah, sorry, its a stylesheet that is inside of one of your plugins. Adding #pixopoint_menu1 #suckerfishnav ul { z-index: 99; } to your style.css should do the trick.

No–but maybe it matters where I put it?

Or, is there a specific file I should try that first suggestion in in conjunction with this?

If it’s any clue, the submenus work fine for the home page tab, but not for the others, and in the page editor I didn’t detect any different settings–nor did I notice any conditionals in scripts.
