Child Pages give 404

  • matthewordie

    @matthewordie

    My home page and top level pages all show up fine. But any of my child pages are throwing a 404 error. Even when viewing the page from WP it goes to a 404.

    I re-saved my permalinks but still getting an error.

  • Please check whether .htaccess file exists.
    If it exists, check the content of this file.

    In some cases you have to edit .htaccess manually. (It depends on hosting.)

    Yeah it exists. I swear I’ve never had this issue on my host before.

    I found if I save to Default permalinks then back to my custom it works. But any time I change it I have to redo this.
