Very new to all this and very confused!

Why do my child pages keep appearing in the main header? When I created them I checked the Page Parent box and chose the correct option. When I look under Manage > Page there is a dash before the title of the sub page of the parent page and 2 dashes in front of the title of the sub page’s sub page (ie grandchild of the main parent page

I’ve looked everywhere to try and find out what I’m doing wrong, including following videos on YouTube and I’ve done what they did, but it hasn’t worked for me!

I’ve got Page Order Plugin activated, but this didn’t make any difference.

I’ve managed to back and update WordPress and I’ve embeded a YouTube video into a page so I’m not completely inept, but this is driving me mad! Can someone PLEASE tell me (step by step) what to do to solve this.

I have the same problem and would appreciate help if anyone can.
