# Child Page question

 * Hello!
 * I was creating some parent – child pages, and have run into something that I 
   can’t find an answer to. When I create a “child” page, does it alway end with
   a -2? If not, what am I doing wrong? I don’t want it to end with a -2.

 * It is happening because there is already a page with the same name. If such a
   page does not appear in list of published pages, then it would be present in “
   Trashed” pages.
