Child Page "current" state on menu (sidebar widget)

  • I have a sidebar menu with links for child pages. When I’m on a current page, the link on the sidebar won’t highlight that it’s on that child page. I tried .current-menu-item and .current-page-item, but they don’t work.

    For example:
If I’m on the Network page, its link on the sidebar won’t highlight with a grey background. When each of the three pages weren’t under a Parent, the .current-menu-item worked to highlight the current page link.

    Solutions
    – Data
    – Network
    – Backup

    Please and thanks!
