• Hey there,

I needed to get the sidebar of my page to list current siblings of the parent category as menu links. I was able to find the code to get it to work, but it’s now stripped out the .current-cat class from the active link, so I’ve lost the formatting that I need. In the below example, the “Interior Signage” link in the sidebar should return as .current-cat and show as bold with a plus replacing the dash on the left.

Any ideas on how to get the .current-cat class back into the output php files?

    Thanks!

  • your link looks like a link to a single post which by default looses the connection to any category menus.

So, a single post is excluded from the hierarchy? I eventually fixed this by removing the automatic redirect from the parent page/category to this page, but never was able to solve the issue if I have to do a similar redirect, but I will keep your comment in mind. Thanks!
