Child Is a No-Show (1 post)

    I am creating a child theme of twentyten. It's in a folder named "twentyten-child" at the same depth as the twentyten folder. In the child folder is only this style.css file:

    Theme Name:     Twenty Ten Child
    Theme URI:      http: //letsfixthiscountry.org/
    Description: Child theme for the Twenty Ten theme
    Author:         Steve Wilson
    Author URI:     http: //letsfixthiscountry.org/about/
    Template:       twentyten
    Version:        0.1.0
    @import url('../twentyten/style.css');
    #site-title {
    	font-size: 18px;
    	color: #ff0000;

    I'm trying to see the results. The Dashboard says "Theme Twenty Ten Child with 7 Widgets". Clicking on that takes me to "Manage Themes" where an image of the original twentyten front page appears. Clicking on that image shows an enlarged version of that same original (with a notation at top-right that says "Activate "Twenty Ten"). No sign of the child with its mutated title as proof.

    Put another way, what do I now enter in a browser so that it will find the child version? Entering "http://localhost/mysitesname.org/" produces ":Object Not Found".

    Any help much appreciated.
