Checkout state dropdown list not showing in other language

    Hi,

    I am building a multivendor marketplace with Dokan coupled with Woocommerce in 2 different languages, English being the primary language and French the secondary one. On the checkout page, the dropdown list of the State field shows normally and checkout process is smooth when in English.

    However when in French, the dropdown list does not show and the field looks like a regular field. It is possible to fill it in manually, but then I get an error message saying that the state name is not valid and the checkout process cannot go through.

    Help to resolve this issue would be much appreciated. Thank you!

    Hello,

    You might have a bug or conflict with your current theme / plugins.
    Can you please visit TranslatePress → Settings → Advanced and activate the:

    Fix missing dynamic content.

    P.S. please disable or clear the cache if you have any.

    If the issue dosent disappear after activate that option here are some steps to debug this further:

    * see if you have any javascript errors in the browser console https://codex.wordpress.org/Using_Your_Browser_to_Diagnose_JavaScript_Errors . A printscreen could help.
    * if you have any security or minification plugins please deactivate them and try again. Some caching plugins also have minification settings that can break javascript code, so for testing purposes please disable any caching as well.
    * try and open the website in a different browser just to exclude a browser add-on that might interfere with javascript.`

    Hi Dennis,

    Thank you so much for your comprehensive reply. It is very much appreciated. I have been following all your steps and could not fix the problem until I figured it is actually a conflict with the theme. By switching to a different theme, the drop-down in French magically reappeared, so I need this issue to be fixed by the theme editor.
