checkout process, slows down 1 sec

    Hi dear support,

    thank you for your great plug-in. I do have a question thought. Our checkut proccess is far slower then the rest of the page. (customers clicks on “order now” and it takes 15 seconds for the “thank you page”. I disabeld all plugin ins (then it took only 3 seconds) and activated one by one again.

    Mailchimp seems to slow down the checkout process round about 1 second. Maybe not much, but is mailchimp soethign doing when the customers clicks “check-out” ? And if so, is it possible to delay that until the thank you page is loaded completey? Thank you in advance.

    Hey @keramikoch,

    Thanks for reaching out to us.

    If you are using our checkout integration, then do note that our plugin will send the data to MailChimp.com during the checkout. This will probably add some delay. If you visit the “MC4WP > Others” menu in your WordPress admin, do you see any errors?
