Checkout Page & Transactions Results Page Broke

    I updated to WP 4.4 and WPEC to 3.11.1 . After update, the website is working fine, but shopping cart checkout page and transactions result page URLs are not working (redirection back to home page). /products-page/ is missing from URL. When i change permalinks settings to “Plain” instead of “Post Name” then both checkout page and transactions page works fine. Somehow permalinks settings are conflicting with something that i can’t figure out. I tried searching in forum and some people are suggesting that it could be theme issue.

    I am using WPNews 1.0 theme (purchased 3-4 years back)
