Hello,
Woocommerce’s Order notes field on the checkout page says “notes about your order, e.g. special notes for delivery” this is confusing my customers and they are putting notes on there such as “leave in the mailbox” or “ring the doorbell and wait for someone to answer” obliviously these notes do not print on the shipping label so what’s the point of having this field say special notes for delivery? I am supposed to handwrite customers’ notes on the shipping label? or is it possible to print these notes on the button part of the shipping label?

Hey @visibledeals,

The optional order notes section is part of the default checkout page in WooCommerce. Those notes are included in the order info regardless of what shipping method or label software is being used, so they can be copy/pasted wherever necessary.

Can you provide some more info about which plugin you’re using for labels? Is it WooCommerce Services (aka WooCommerce Shipping and Tax) or something different?

I use woocommerce shipping and tax plugin. I also reached out to them and this is the response I received.

Great, thanks! Glad to see that the devs created an issue on Github to look into adding that feature in the future.
