    Hi @initsolutions,

Apologies for the issues. The new gateway fee feature in our latest update 6.3 does seem to have a conflict with plugins that generate an invoice.
Our developers are working to provide a fix with our next update.

In the meantime, you can download the previous Mollie version from here:

    Kind regards,
    Niklas

I am really shocked that such a huge problem that affects thousands of customers is not solved within 3 weeks. With “affects” I mean that checkout is NOT WORKING with current version…

It’s great for me to have the 6.2.2 version but what about all the people out there that do not even realize the problem?

    Hello @initsolutions,

Our update 6.4.0 was released earlier today and resolved the reported issue.
The problem was fixed shortly after it was first reported, but it was not feasible for us to release a hotfix update for this plugin conflict alone.
Everyone who has reached out to us was provided with a temporary workaround and this is the best we could do in this case. A manual action is required either way whether or not we release a new update.
Plugin conflicts that prevent core functionality are of course never desirable, but WordPress is very vocal about errors that occur on the site and it’s rather unlikely that this behavior would go unnoticed.
But in any case, the problem is solved now with the latest version.
You can of course always reach out whenever you have any questions or issues.

    Kind regards,
    Niklas

Thank you Niklas for your friendly explanation,

seems like we have very different ratings in this particular case.
Not understandable for me that “it was not feasable to release a hotfix”.
I suppose you would have saved at least hundreds of hours of frustrating work (for example took me 2 hours to find the plugin conflict) and also lots of money from shop owners if you provided a hotfix.

But I respect your decision and I am also very thankful that you provide such an important plugin.

    Best regards

    Markus

    Hi @initsolutions,

There is always a certain risk in updating plugins when you run a site with many plugin interactions. We usually recommend creating a staging site to test new plugin versions or general site modifications without potentially disrupting the production site with an unforeseen conflict. Especially when it is actively generating revenue.
The error you were experiencing in the checkout required a very specific configuration to block the checkout process. We are thoroughly testing our releases with many third-party plugins, including Germanized.
Everything we tested with Germanized worked as expected and showed no signs of a conflict, even the invoice generation. But the automatic invoice generation of some other plugins (like this one) seemed to cause a fatal error. I am not sure what configuration on your site, in particular, caused the issue though.
While we did receive a few reports about issues with creating invoices, the checkout was impacted only in a relatively small number of environments. The impact is still big, but it was not as widespread of a problem as it may seem.
We must ask for your understanding that we cannot test every possible plugin interaction and hotfix releases may cause more problems than they are supposed to fix if pushed out too quickly. It takes time to ensure the best possible code quality.
Widespread, feature-breaking issues will, of course, be addressed as soon as we can, but this was determined not to be the case here.
In any case, you can always reach out and let us know when you encounter any issues. We appreciate your feedback either way.

    Kind regards,
    Niklas
