  • Hello,

    Can you please tell me how to replicate this issue and share your site link?

    hi Amit

    Try https://agambooks.com the site is in hebrew
    register as a customer go to my account you will see the title of the page stay ‘my account’ regardless which endpoint you visit orders, downloads etc.

    The same behaviour exist for the checkout pages.
    You can see it by downloading one of the freebees from here. https://agambooks.com/product-category/%D7%92%D7%9D%D7%90%D7%92%D7%9D/%D7%93%D7%A4%D7%99-%D7%A2%D7%91%D7%95%D7%93%D7%94/

    To access the user account, look for a user icon next the cart icon in the left side of the main menu, or in the left side of the footer.

    Look forward to hearing from you

    I tested it with the woocommerce storefront theme and have the same issue. So it looks like the woocommerce plugin issue, not a theme issue.

    @eyeswiseopen I just tested this on my site, and I can see the endpoint name set correctly as the main header. At the same time, the document title showing in the browser is still set to ‘My Account’:

    It is the document title you’re hoping to change here, is that right?

    Even though there’s no option in WooCommerce to change the document title, this should be possible with some custom code. Here you can find an example of how this can be done:

    Cheers!

    Hi Amit
    I just
    tested the site with ‘wp 2017’ – end point works as it should
    tested it with oceanWP – the issue is there
    tested it with oceanWP child theme – the issue is there
    where do we go from here?

    Hello,

    I tested it again and found that endpoints name are not working in the breadcrumb and page header title in oceanwp theme only. Working well with other themes.
    Also, it is not working with oceanwp or any other theme for the document title. So we can’t do anything about it.

    We will check this issue on our end and try to release a fix asap for the breadcrumb and page header title.

    For a temporary fix, you can add a code to display endpoints name at your desired place in my account page. If you like it, then let me know, I’ll give you the code.

    Hi Amit
    Thank you for dealing with it
    And yes please to code that fixes page header title
    I will need it to work for both my account and checkout endpoints
    thank you thank you thank you

    Hi Amit
    Any chance you could provide the temporary fix code?
    Please pretty please

    We are looking into this issue and will try to fix it soon. For now, you can display the endpoints name above the content instead of the page header using the code. Add the below code to the functions.php file of the child theme. Add some css to style it as per your need –

    function prefix_endpoint_title( $title ) {

        if ( is_account_page() ) {
            $title = the_title( '<h1 class="entry-title">', '</h1>' );
        }

        return $title;

    }
    add_filter( 'ocean_before_page_entry', 'prefix_endpoint_title' );

    Hi Amit
    Thank you for providing this temporary solution
    It works well for the account page.

    What do I need to do to make it work for the checkout page too?

    Use the updated code below instead of the previous one –

    function prefix_endpoint_title( $title ) {

        if ( is_account_page() || is_checkout() ) {
            $title = the_title( '<h1 class="entry-title">', '</h1>' );
        }

        return $title;

    }
    add_filter( 'ocean_before_page_entry', 'prefix_endpoint_title' );

    Hi Amit
    Thank you thank you thank you! works perfectly now…
    oceanWP Rocks!

    You’re most welcome!
