# Checkout Issues

 * Hi,
 * I am having issues with customers still being able to enter in shipping information
   even though they are selecting “curbside pickup” and getting around paying for
   delivery.
    I have removed the force shipping option, and even disabled the shipping
   option from showing unless they select “shipping” but they are still finding 
   a way around it. I swear either i’m doing something wrong, or these people are
   that sneaky.
 * i’m finding it happens more for mobile orders than desktop orders though.
 * can anyone recommend something else?

 * To hide the shipping fields when local pickup is selected, you can apply a PHP
   snippet as explained here: [https://www.businessbloomer.com/woocommerce-hide-shipping-local-pickup-selected/](https://www.businessbloomer.com/woocommerce-hide-shipping-local-pickup-selected/)
 * That code should be added to your child theme’s functions.php file or via a plugin
   that allows custom functions to be added, such as the [Code Snippets](https://wordpress.org/plugins/code-snippets/)
   plugin. Please don’t add custom code directly to your parent theme’s functions.
   php file as this will be wiped entirely when you update.
