    Dear Tatvic Team,

I have 2 questions about Checkout Funnel fine-tune, and stats.

I found good info on your checkout steps 1, 2, 3, on this earlier answer.
I set up the labels according to that. (in Hungarian language 😛 )

Question 1: The difference between step 3 (“Rendel” = Proceed To Pay button click) and step (4) (See screenshot here) “Sessions with transactions” is that the customer was unable to make transaction on the payment provider’s platform for some reason, then it didn’t arrive to the Thank You page. Am i right?

    Q #2:
Why there is inaccuracy in the numbers? (see screenshot above again) From each step, if i subtract the dropoff number, it won’t be equal to the next step number at the top. Any idea what causes this disparity?

    Thank you!
    Best wishes,
    Wiktor

    Hi @iwanwilaga,

Thanks for creating this topic and sorry for the late posting.

Below are the answers to the raised questions:

    1) The customer was unable to make a transaction on the payment provider’s platform for some reason is one reason. Another reason is that the customer made payment and did not return to the thankyou page of the site.

    2) The disparity in numbers are because:

The users who are registered on the site and if they do not fill the billing details(as registered details are used) then the checkout step2 does not get tracked.
If the site has products(such as virtual products) where the user is not required to fill in the billing details and can directly go to the payment page.
The user resumed the checkout process in a different session.
Reason for the discrepancy in transaction numbers is mentioned in the 1st point.

We hope the above detail help in understanding the data captured in the checkout step. Please post us in case you have further questions.

    Thanks & Regards,
    Tatvic Analytics.
