Support » Plugin: Striper - Stripe Integration for WooCommerce » Checkout Form and Submission

  • Resolved Vadonis

I’m testing the latest version of Striper (0.16) on my localhost. I was placing an order and when I got to the checkout I noticed that the Striper submission form doesn’t have a field for customer names.

For security reasons we need to have customers name associated with their credit card. I can see their names on the backend via woocommerce order section, but we need to verify that the person placing the order is the same as what’s on the card. I visited the Stripe dashboard, the last 4 digits of the card shows up (as expected), but the name says No name provided, yet it shows the customer name in the description, under payment details.

    Vadonis, sounds reasonable.

Let me do some checking in on how I want to implement it.

WordPress of course has the customer information, surprising it doesn’t get passed along to Stripe.

Alright, you should be all set, I now pass all the checkout fields along to stripe using their data-stripe syntax looks good,

Download 0.22 and you should be all set to go.
