# Checkout error "-1"

 * When I try to check out with Paypal Express, I get a blank page with “1” in the
   upper left corner. This error does not occur when I am logged in as an administrator.
 * My WordPress, theme, and all my plugins are up-to-date. I have tried disabling
   all plugins except Woocommerce and this plugin, but I get the same error (“1”
   on blank page). I enabled error logging and no errors are being logged in the
   error log file. I am using the Woocommerce Storefront theme. My web host is WP
   Engine.
 * Any ideas how to resolve this problem?

 * I’m sorry for the delay getting back to you. I was out of town for the weekend
   and I’m playing catch-up now.
 * WP Engine can cause caching issues with WooCommerce in general. They actually
   provide a guide on [how to get your ecommerce site to work on WP Engine](https://wpengine.com/support/wpengine-ecommerce/),
   which basically boils down to contacting them for direct help.
 * I’ve had a few people in the past with this problem and after contacting them
   they were able to get it fixed up pretty quickly.

 * You were exactly right. It was a caching problem. WP Engine wrote some exceptions
   and everything is working. Thanks for excellent support of this plugin. I really
   appreciate it and the great plugin!
