# Checking PHP Version for Theme

 * Hi,
 * I am developing a theme which requires PHP 5.3 as a minimum. Is there anyway 
   I can check for this when a user attempts to activate the theme and prevent it
   activating (with a polite message) if they don’t meet this requirement?
