Checking for broken links on your site - what do you use? (4 posts)

    What tools or methods are people using to locate broken links on their own sites? I'm not only talking about bad links to external sites, but links to missing images or photos or other stuff you may have within your site.

    'bout the only thing I use is the link checker at w3 org. I used to try various free and paid ones out there, but none of them really were better than the rest (so especially for the paid for ones, why bother?) The w3 org one works pretty darn good. You get not only a list of what was checked and where, but how many anchors, how many valid anchors, and a list of problems/potential problems with details and suggestions as to fixes.
