Checkboxes not respecting Category rules | WordPress.org

I’m using the Checkout Custom Fields module with two checkboxes. I’ve specified that they should only appear on 1 or 2 categories, but they are both showing up for all categories.
I’ve also tried specifying every other category as Excluded, but that didn’t change the result.

This is the incorrect result I’m getting: checkboxes showing up on the order notification (and customer order confirmation, but I’ve switched that option off for now)

This shows the category for this product Category “N/A”

Settings for checkbox 1 “N/A” is excluded

Settings for checkbox 2 “N/A” is excluded

Just to clarify… the checkboxes behave properly on the checkout page itself. The problem I’m describing is in the order confirmation emails.

Thanks for the screenshots.

As you have set the value for the checkbox it will not display on the checkout page. But yes you are right it’s displaying on the email. This might need to remove by custom code. We will check and try to resolve it in our upcoming update.

Would there be an update here, or would that be something included in the release notes, or do I just need to keep testing it…?
