When a customer went to the cart she saw info for a different client was already filled in. Do you have a fix for this problem?

The website is https://www.katinaarnott.com and all the plugins are up to date. The theme is Astra. The host is Flywheel and the cache is turned off.

I just went to your site, added an item to cart and went to checkout. No user information was in the checkout fields for me so I was not able to reproduce this problem. I also have no other reports of this being an issue for anyone else.

I have not heard of this type of thing happening on any kind of site in a very long time. You mention caching is turned but, however when I’ve heard of this in the past it was always a server issue related to caching or the server getting confused and using the wrong user session data. Have you contacted Flywheel about this yet? I’m curious to hear what they would say since this feels very much like a server level issue and not a software issue at the moment.

Thanks for your reply.  No, I haven’t contacted Flywheel about the caching because we don’t have a caching plugin and the Flywheel cache is turned off.

I thank you for the Sunshine plugin, which has been a tremendous help and this is the only problem I have seen in the past 5 years.

This invoice is all I have of the transaction data, which looks like this:

    Customer Information

    Other client name

    Other client email address

    Shipping

    Real client name

    Real client address

The Other name and email are data related to another client. The Real name and address are data from the client who was logged in.

Without being able to reproduce the issue there is not much I can do to investigate this. Are you able to reproduce it in any way? If so, what are the exact steps to take?

No, we can’t reproduce. I understand that is essential to prove a fix but at least this is documented which may be useful if a similar issue occurs.

    Thank you
