    Hello,

I’ve got a WordPress website that displays my content and a Prestashop e-shop that manages the customers. I’m looking for a plugin that would allow me to restrict some posts only to the logged in users (those who have an account in the Prestashop e-shop). Could this plugin be a good solution ? Is it able to check the Prestashop side for accounts ? Or is there another way to do so, like adding a role in WordPress for the customers who have an account in Prestashop and restrict the content to this role ?

Besides, it is possible to restrict all the already existing posts for a given taxonomy in an automatic way ? I can’t do it manually, there are way too many.

Thank you for your replies !

  • Hi @laolaorel ,

Unfortunately Restrict Content doesn’t integrate with Prestashop. The two platforms are completely different and have separate login systems. They don’t communicate with each other.

You’d have to manually give your Prestashop customers an account on your WordPress site with a specific role. Then you can use Restrict Content to restrict content to users who have that role.

I’m afraid Restrict Content doesn’t have a way to restrict existing posts in a given taxonomy term, but our Pro version does. You can restrict the taxonomy term itself, which then restricts all posts that are associated with that term.

Hi Ashley, thank you for your reply ! Turns out I’ve found another solution and I don’t need to use a plugin anymore 😉

    Thanks anyway !
