Hi,
You can extract the UpdraftPlus files and check if they have been compromised.
Alternatively, you can try restoring the backup on a test site. However, this will already require the Migrator add-on.

OK. Thank you!
And the Migration addon is required only when I will want to restore the backup on the different site?
I am asking because I have to delete all the plugins of my hacked WordPress site, then reinstall WordPress from the dashboard, install updraft again, and then restore the backup — will it be possible?

Hi,
Sorry about the delay.
The migrator addon is only needed if the domain name has changed.
For example you take a backup of example.com and want to restore it on example2.com as the domains are different the migrator addon will be needed.
If your restoring the backup on a fresh WordPress install on the same domain then it is fine.
Best Wishes,
Ashley
