# Chatrooms?

 * I was wondering if there is atleast a decent chat or shoutbox software inside
   WordPress that allows members (who are registered into the WP system) to communicate.
 * I’m looking everywhere and all i found is those that ask for Money money money.
 * Pathetic i believe.
    So does anyone find any working chat system?

 * They charge.
    All of them, looked, asked, answered the same.
 * And when i thought i found one that worked, they only allowed 50 members plus
   asked for money.
    _I have 300+ members, and broke._

 * I’ve never used it (I have used their “Meebo Me” product though). Looks like 
   it offers embed code so that you could embed the chat room into a page though.

 * i dont trust meebo.
 * What i ask is for a chatroom (widget preferably) that allows members who are 
   logged in from my site to chat, but neither works except the chatroll and they
   limit the users who can chat.

 * Hey DerekHarper… Meebo supports widgets. You need to just create a room, then
   under Settings, there is an option to create the widget code and simply put a
   text box in your side bar and place the code in there. Voila… chatroom in your
   widget side bar!
