# Chat Transcript

 * Hi.
 * I’m trying to setup the 3CX on our dev site to make sure it doesn’t have any 
   issues when we move over to this new chat plugin.
 * However, I’ve noticed that I can no longer enable the chat transcript under the
   general settings, like the 3CX documents suggest. In fact there is no chat transcript
   settings section at all under general settings on the plugin. Can you please 
   let me know how I turn this on? This is an essential tool for our customer service
   team so we really need it.

   is not part of features that the 3CX is offering, at least at the moment. It 
   is a feature that will be supported in the upcoming updates, but at for now it
   is not supported.
 * This feature is available if you choose from the plugin the Standalone mode.

 * When will the chat transcript feature be available for 3CX (chat server users
   under advanced features) rather than just for standalone?

 * We cannot communicate at this stage any specific timeframe for the chat transcript
   as we undergo some major changes in the product.
