# Chat Language & Polylang plugin

 * Hei, so I’m having 3 languages on my site : german/english/french, I’m using 
   Polylang to manage that, and I’ve just seen that when on the french pages, the
   chat is translated to French (most of it) but it doesn’t when on the german one.
 * I was wondering, is it because of the /fr in the url that the chat is being translated?
   Is that a reason why the default version which is german and has no /de url isn’t
   translated?
 * I tried adding another language and see if it works and it didn’t, and I was 
   thinking maybe it’s because it wasn’t translated so even though there was the
   url trigger there were no translated files? Is that how it works?
 * If not, how is it? Cuz if there’s french translation, it must mean there’s a 
   way to get a multi-language chat support?

 * Hello [@tech96](https://wordpress.org/support/users/tech96/), since you’re using
   a translation plugin, you should enable Settings -> Styling -> Use localization
   plugin.
 * Check the sticky post for more details about updating translations.
