Hi @jamesradcliffe,
I’ve taken a look at your web site, and the Chat plugin appears to be loading up fine for me! I guess you were able to resolve your issue?
I’ll make this as resolved, but let us know if you’re still experiencing any issues.
Thanks,

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly!
I’ve had a further look into this and to be honest I’m even more confused now than previously.
It seems to display on Microsoft Edge for me, although I’ve configured settings which include a custom message, not the default “Hi! How can we help you?” and also so that the chat bubble does not expand on it’s own. These settings don’t seem to have been applied though.
Google Chrome is my main browser though and I cannot get the bubble to display when running Chrome. I’ve disabled all ad and pop-up blockers, cleaned my site and browser cache as well as enabling all cookies but I still can’t get the bubble to display for me on Chrome for whatever reason.
Is there a simple setting that I may be missing somewhere?
Thanks.
Hi @jamesradcliffe,
I can see the plugin loading fine on your site when I view it in Google Chrome – on both Mac and PC. However, I did observe that on one particular occasion it did not load, and it seems the scripts did not fire correctly.
You have a LOT of scripts firing on your web page. I’m not sure what they are all for, but if any of these scripts fails, conflicts, or creates a race-condition with another script, it could well cause the plugin to fail to load. I would definitely recommend reviewing the scripts being used on this site, and slimming them down where possible.
To comprehensively debug, I would recommend removing the other scripts to start with, checking that the plugin loads correctly, and then adding back the scripts one-by-one to determine which (if any) are prone to cause conflicts/issues.
Additionally, it seems you’re using version 1.8 of the plugin. I would also recommend upgrading to the latest version (2.0).
Hope this helps!

Hi!
Thanks for all of your help with this.
I still don’t seem to be able to view it myself although I’ve asked others to test it for me also and it does appear that it’s working correct in most instances so I’m hoping that it’s more of a user error than an issue with the plugin.
Thanks again and I hope you have a great weekend.
James
