Support » Fixing WordPress » charset (utf-8) doesn't show mutated vowels (german)

  • Hey there,

I just moved my wordpress-blog from one domain to another. After I fixed some “smaller” issues, the character set (utf-8) settings are correct (in the mySQL-database as well as in the wp-config.php)

but while the widgets display german mutated vowels appropriate, the backend (admin panel) and the posts don’t seem to use the utf-8 charset.

Strangely enough, everything that I write anew is being displayed correctly. So it seems that there has been a charset-problem within the process of moving the wordpress installation from the old domain to the new one…

Here’s the link to my blog: bleib-passiv.de
