# character encoding suddenly broken

 * I’ve got a problem. I’ve been running 3 different installations of WordPress 
   2.3.1 for months with no problems. All of them are in the same server, and today
   I found that special characters are broken. I use UTF-8. You can see one of the
   blogs [here](http://optimitza.cat/actualidad/).
 * Now even I get php errors (Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/sites/
   www.optimitza.cat/web/actualidad/wp-includes/classes.php on line…) that this 
   morning I did not get, so it seems it’s getting worse…
 * Could anybody help? Thanks.

 * I’ve talked to my hosting provider and they have just updated MySQL to version
   5.0, it probably has to do with this.
