 * Hi,
 * We recently performed a search of our data base tables for instances of HTTP
   while converting the site from HTTP to HTTPS using the plugin Better Search Replace.
 * In the results of the dry run, the following tables had instances of HTTP:
 * wp_wfconfig, wp_wffilemods, wp_wfhits, wp_wfknownfilelist, wp_wfnotifications
 * If we convert the instances of HTTP in the aforementioned tables to HTTPS, will
   there be any issues with how WordFence functions or any other aspect of the application?
 * Thank you and have a good day!

 * Hi [@nevrsmer](https://wordpress.org/support/users/nevrsmer/),
 * I wouldn’t recommend replacing strings within the database. Here’s what I would
   do:
 * 1. Go to Wordfence -> Tools -> Import/Export
    2. Export your options to a special
   key 3. Go to Wordfence -> All Options -> Tick off Delete all Tables/Data upon
   deactivation 4. Reinstall Wordfence 5. Go back to Import/Export and import your
   options
 * The tables that have `http` may have references to different sites, so they shouldn’t
   be changed to `https`.

 * Hello Dave,
 * Thank you very much for the information.
 * By saving the setting by exporting them to a key, will that allow me to reinstall
   WordFence and not have to complete any verifications and configure settings?
   Sorry, I’ve never done this, so I just want to make sure before I proceed with
   your instructions.
 * Again, many thanks!
