# Changing URL structure

 * Hi,
 * I’m about to change the URL structure of my posts which currently include the
   year. I’m changing it so the year won’t show anymore.
    I understand how to make
   the URL structure change in my settings. My question is, once I make the change,
   will the URL structure of my old published posts change as well? Or would they
   stay the same and I would redirect them to the new format?

 * ALL content, old and new, will change to the new URL structure.

 * You may want to setup redirects so that links to your posts from search engines
   and other websites do not encounter a 404 error. Here is a short article on changing
