Changing URL of podcast page

I have changed URL of podcast page using

add_filter( ‘ssp_archive_slug’, ‘ssp_modify_podcast_archive_slug’ );
function ssp_modify_podcast_archive_slug ( $slug ) {
return ‘new-slug’;
}

Now, can’t I create another page (WordPress simple Page) with /podcast after changing URL of real podcast archive ?
