Hi, I’ve only recently noticed that all imported subscribers (via CSV import – which I did some time ago), came in as Unconfirmed (and don’t appear to be receiving the newsletter). They aren’t being listed as Active. I can change each one manually, but as there are thousands, that’s not practical. Is there a way to change these en masse? Thanks!

We tested this and can’t duplicate.

    What version are you running?

If you already have subscribers it won’t overwrite their status. You’d have to export and delete them for the status to update. But any new users should get an active status.

Hi, I’m not doing very well with the import. Though I’ve saved the download as a csv and just opened it in Excel, deleted the relevant subs from my sub list, and then tried to upload, it just puts every email address on a single line. Are there guidelines on creating an appropriate csv? I would have thought that copying the download structure would have worked but it’s not. Tried manually adding in commas and that doesn’t work either.

I can add manually though (rather than via csv), which I might do since they come in easily in one hit directly from Excel. Then they are active.

Actually just adding them in by pasting into the add subs list works and overrides unconfirmed with active so all good! Thanks!
