Changing to static homepage and making a page for my blogs

  • I originally went for a homepage which showed my recent posts, but now I want to change it to a static homepage and create another for posts. I figured out how to do a homepage and go to “reading” to make it a static. However, when I try to create a page for my posts although it shows up on the top menu bar, I can’t actually get my old posts to show on this new page. It is empty except for the title and archives of posts at the very bottom of the page. Can I even do what I want to do with the Responsive theme?
Thanks! I just went to my original set up, but eventually I would like a static homepage.

  • Hi there!

Did you go to your Settings –> Reading, and change the “Posts page:” option to the page you created for posts? That should fix the problem you have.

    Good luck!
