Can anyone help me? Thanks in advance.

When you move yout WordPress installation to the root directory, will the URL for your site remain the same?

In other words… if it’s currently ‘www.yourdomain.com’ and it will remain the same after the change, you should have no problem. I don’t think you need to do anything special for this plugin to continue working.

However, if your URL will change from ‘www.yourdomain.com/blog’ to ‘www.yourdomain.com’ then you MIGHT have a slight problem. The plugin itself should continue to work, but it might restart the view counts for your individual pages. That won’t affect your daily counts, but if you look at your week, month or year counts, you could see duplicate listings — views before you moved your site could wind up appearing separately from views after you moved.

Either way, the plugin itself should not need to be altered in any way. If it doesn’t work after the move, just update your wordpress.com member account settings — so the URL listed in your profile matches the URL of your blog website.
