Changing themes

    I am using a theme that is now outdated and need to change themes. Can I change themes without losing all my stuff I have one the theme now. If so what is the way to do this.

    You can update the your current theme if its available. You can change your theme by going to Appearance-Themes.

    FYI your content is intact while you change your theme

    If you change your theme you won’t lose all your stuff. Your stuff is in the database.

    If your current theme has specific features that are not in the new theme you might lose some functionality of your site. For example, some themes have more widgetized areas than others. So widgets you use in areas not supported in the new theme won’t be there.

    Always back up your site before making major changes.

    The way to do it is to go to appearance>themes and choose a new theme.
