# changing theme help

 * I went back and changed my theme to something closer to what I have in mind. 
   I was able to view it in the customizer and work on it. But, when i go into edit
   anything on the page, outside of the customizer, it still has most of the elements
   from the original theme.
 * DO i need to completely wipe my site to be able to edit a new theme beyond the
   customizer? If so, how do i do that?

 * To clear up any confusion, WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two different

 * WordPress.com has complete documentation and support contacts at [https://wordpress.com/support/](https://wordpress.com/support/)
 * With that said, in general themes do not ship with demo content, so if you got
   demo content from one theme, that’s generally the content you’ll still have under
   the next theme.
 * You’d need to delete the demo content and start adding your own.
