# Changing Theme

 * I currently have a theme installed however if I install another will all the 
   information from that theme erase such as “social media info, footer info, etc.
 * Do I have to reenter all that info into the new theme?
 * And if I decide to go back the the theme I had will all the information and same
   format (basically go back how it looked)?

 * If you entered info into widgets or into the customizer it doesn’t transfer over.
 * In most cases, if you want to transfer back those things are maintained in the
   old theme. In general that is what I have found.
