Changing the white background.

  • Sorry for beginner style questions but how can I change the white background colour to a greyer colour such as #a0a0a0 so the comments bubble is a bit easier to see?

In your child theme or custom CSS plugin, set a new background-color property on the body and #page element to your desired color. You can read about setting background-color here:
    http://www.w3schools.com/cssref/pr_background-color.asp

Sorry I maybe wasn’t clear in with my terminology. I have a background image but I was looking to change the background to the white box that is behind the circles and behind my blog postings. I have had a read through the link you mentioned but I cannot easily see the answer. I am using the CSS custom manager if that is information that could prove useful.

Thanks for your help so far, and I do love the theme.

I would also love to know how to edit that part of the background 🙂
