changing the “index.php” to “news.php” and still using WP

    @shaybee

    I’m trying to set up WordPress inside a site that I’ve alreay built. I want to use it for more of a site updates and random “what’s new” section with the main WP page as something other than “index.php”. For instance, calling it “news.php”. If I try to set it up in its own directory, it ignores the rest of my site (not to mention, it looks nothing like the rest of the site … ).

    Is there a way to integrate WordPress into my site without having to remake the site in WordPress? I do use calls to other db to populate info on the site.
