Changing the header body and footer size?

  • rooster800

I am trying to make the header, body, and footer the same size as the central text about 960px, and then have a different background colour for the HTML element.
Is there a way to do this on this theme whilst keeping theme responsive?

It probably depends on how the site is coded and exactly what you are trying to change. It can also be complicated to start making changes to the layout of theme, so unless you know CSS, it may not be the best idea. But if you post a link to your site and describe more specifically what you want to do, someone can likely give you a better answer.
