Changing the Font of the Page Name

  • Hi,

    First of all, I have searched this forum and Google extensively before posting this question 🙂

    When I change the font of the names of my pages by changing the heading using: ‘<h1> </h1>’, for example of the page “About” (http://www.martijnboersma.com/about/), something unwanted occurs with the site navigation shown before the content: “Browse/About”. The font of the “About” page changes correctly, but it also changes in site navigation and “About” jumps from after the forward slash to underneath “Browse”.

    – Can I change the font of the page name without changing the font in the site navigation? (Probably not :-p)

    – Can I change the entire site navigation part before the content to the new font, and how do I make sure the text shown stays aligned.

    Thanks a bunch!

    Cheers,
    Martijn.

  • Okay (I’m just talking to myself here) these types of site navigation are apparently called breadcrumbs. I decided to remove them by adding this to my theme-functions.php:

    add_filter( 'breadcrumb_trail', 'theme_disable' );

    function theme_disable( $var ) {
    	return false;
    }
