Changing the Content Bar Background Colour.

  • Hello,

I’m wondering where I can find the CSS code to change the background colour of the content bar, independently from the the main background colour of my blog.

Also, I want to change the header/title font for each blog to Helvetica and make it larger.

I have very limited knowledge CSS so please be gentle.

    Many Thanks,

    Adam

Unless you provide a link to a page demonstrating the problem, no one will be able to offer much in the way of specific help.

I’m working off-line running MAMP on my local computer so I don’t think I’ll be able to post a link.

In a typical 2 column WordPress blog website, there are two main columns. The content bar (where most of the blog content goes) and the side bar. ( where links and widgets go)

All I want to do is change the background colour of the content bar. The main background for the entire site is black and I was able to change this no problem.
But I can’t seem to find where the code is for the content bar background.

    Does this help at all?

    Adam

Try looking in the theme’s stylesheet.
